General Manager

A well established Westcountry based Metal Finishing Company is looking to recruit a General Manager.

Your responsibilities will be the day to day management of the plating facility, including areas such as

solving technical problems
staff management
customer liaison
Overseeing / Completing Quotations
Implementing the continuous improvement program
Ensuring customers needs are delivered
Controlling commercial aspects such as keeping costs minimised and ensuring good productivity

Candidates must come from a Metal Finishing background with considerable experience in the fields of electroplating and anodising.

Previous experience within this field in the aerospace industry and an understanding of NADCAP requirements would be a distinct advantage.

This position is best suited for candidates who come from a managerial or supervisory background with proven man-management experience.

Salary is negotiable and depending on experience working Monday - Friday

Wheel Plant Phosphate / Ecoat Specialist

Salary is negotiable around £30,000 pa. Location: South east

An opportunity exists for a process chemist with experience in metals pre-treatment especially in Electro coating for the automotive industry.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in the management and control of Electro coat treatment as part of a finished paint process.

They will be required to produce quality data sheets, maintain statistical analysis of the process variables and order and control the required chemicals and associated material data sheets

The flexible hours of work are based on 37.5 hours per week. 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays.

European and North America Account Manager – General Metal Finishing

Atotech (China) Chemicals Ltd, a member of the Total group, located in Guangzhou – China, is one of the leading suppliers of electroplating chemistry, integrated production systems and equipment in the world. Our product range covers technologies for the entire spectrum of decorative and functional surface treatment for various materials from steel through aluminum to engineered plastics. With our rapid expansion in China, we are looking for a high caliber native English speaking European and North America Account Manager –General Metal Finishing joining our general metal finishing team in the Greater China.

Major Responsibilities:

Reporting to Business Director – GMF, you will be responsible to liaise and coordinate projects, sales activities and technical issues among customers, project engineers and internal functional departments
Responsible for providing sales and technical support primarily to Atotech’s existing and future European and North America customers located in China.
Position requires applicant to provide on time support to existing customers from the point of equipment / chemical installations to technical advice and support during design and start-up of new installations.

Requirements:

Native English speaking
Master Degree or above in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
At least 5 years working experience in the metal finishing field
Willing to travel extensively within China
Relocate to Shanghai or Guangzhou is a MUST.

Remuneration:
